In this study; some properties of low erusic acid rapeseed and its oil were investigated. For this aim, fourteen different rapeseed varieties were used. Bu çalışmada, düşük erüsik asitli kolza tohumu ve yağlarının bazı özellikleri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla ondört farklı kolza çeşidi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; kolza tohumlarında rutubet oranı %4.57-5.64, bin tane ağırlığı kurumaddede 2.51-6.18 g, ham selüloz oranı yağsız kurumaddede %11.54-18.17, protein oranı kurumaddede %17.16-25.26 ve yağ oranı kurumaddede %33.45-49.50 arasındadır. Tohumlardan petrol eteri ekstraksiyonuyla elde edilen yağlarda ise özgül ağırlık 0.9150-0.9265, kırılma indisi 1.4685-1.4721, serbest yağ asitleri %0.22-0.59, peroksit sayısı 3.11-8.24 MeO2/kg, iyot sayısı 102.0-115.1 sabunlaşma sayısı 178-185 ve sabunlaşmayan madde miktarı %0.35-0.71 arasında bulunmuştur.
