Abstract

In this research total of 18 samples (14 factory samples of various grades and 4 commercial samples) pertaining to the year of 1983 were investigated. In the samples caffeine and tannin amounts were taken into consideration. Moisture and total mineral matters were also determined. The total mineral matters content varied between %4.0487-5.5662% and moisture contents were between 7.4570-8.7873%. Caffeine contents differed between 3.42-4.34% and tannin contents were found to differ within the range of 6.66-8.14%.

Özet

Araştırmada 1983 ürünü 14 adet çay örneği ve 1984 yılı ürünü 4 adet ticari çay örneği üzerinde çalışılmıştır. Anılan örneklerde kafein ve tanen miktarları üzerinde durulmuştur. Sonuçların kolay yorumu için ayrıca rutubet ve total kül analizleri yapılmıştır. Örneklerde total kül miktarı %4.0487-5.5662, rutubet oranı ise %7.4570-8.7873 arasında değişmektedir.
