Abstract

Arthrogryposis multiplex conjenita (AMC) is a rare defect characterized by multiple joint contractures, seen with 3% frequency in newborn period with unknown etiology. Multiorgan abnormalities and multiple joint contractures are seen in these patients and they are operated for these reasons. AMC has anaesthetic risk for reasons as limited mandibular joint movement, torticollis, skoliozis and malignant hyperthermia. The aim of this case report is to evaluate the specifities of anaesthetic approach to AMC syndrome
