Günümüzde ev tipi çamaşır makinelerinde kullanılan deterjanlar yüzey aktif maddelerin yanında ağartma maddeleri ve yardımcı maddeler de içermekledir. Yaygın olarak kullanılan oksijen bazlı ağarlıcı maddeler içeren deterjanlar ile yapılan yıkamalarda, pamuklu kumaşlarda temizleme işlemi yanında beyazlık etkisini arttırmak da mümkündür. Bu amaçla, çalışmada oksijen bazlı ağarlıcı temizlik maddeleri kullanılarak %1OO pamuklu kumaşlar üzerindeki beyazlatma elkisi incelenmiş ve sonuçları L8 deney dizaynına göre istatistiksel olarak analiz edilmiştir.
