Abstract
Drug-induced pancreatitis is a rare but important cause of pancreatic injury. Orlistat is a pancreatic lipase inhibitor licensed for the treatment of obesity. We present a case of orlistat- induced mild acute pancreatitis that developed 8 days after starting treatment.
Özet
ilaca bağlı pankreatit vakaları nadirdir, fakat önemli derecelerde pankreatik hasara sebep olabilirler. Orlistat, obezite tedavisinde kullanılan pankreatik lipaz inhibitörüdür. Orlistat ile obezite tedavisine başlandıktan sonraki 8. günde gözlenen hafif derecede akut pankreatit vakasını sunduk.
