Abstract

Psoas abscess is defined as primary or secondary according to the presence of a predisposing disease. Secondary psoas abscesses are 70 % of all and generally emerge from an inflamation of a neighboring organ by focal spread. Renal tuberculosis is rare in childhood and is usually diagnosed while abdominal pain, sterile pyuria and/or microscopic hematuri is analysed. In this paper, we report two children being diagnosed as psoas abscesses due to renal tuberculosis.
