In this study, it is aimed to reveal the changes in food preparation, cooking and storage practices of individuals during the pandemic period. The sample of the study consists of 625 individuals who take an active role in food practices in Sivas province. The research data were collected by online survey method and were analyzed with the SPSS 23.0 package program and compared with the results of the studies conducted before the Coronavirus Pandemic. According to the findings of the research, it was determined that 39% of the individuals made the right practices in thawing the meat, 11.7% in cooking rice, 59.7% in cooking milk and 78.7% in choosing yoghurt. In addition, 45.9% of the individuals poured their vegetable juices, 59.5% poured the boiling water of the pasta, 65.6% kept vegetables such as potatoes and onions in a dark place in a cupboard or box, 70.4% of the dried legumes were boiled. It was determined that 25.1% of them used the boiling method in cooking the meat, 33.8% used probiotic yogurt, 28.8% used glass containers for milk and yoghurt storage, 81.6% kept the eggs in the refrigerator without washing them. According to these results, it was revealed that there was a positive increase in the studies conducted in previous years on the preparation, cooking and storage of foods, and it was concluded that the sensitivity of the individuals in making the right practices from preparing the food to consuming the food was increased. In order to benefit from foods to the maximum extent, individuals need to be more conscious about preparing, cooking and storing foods.
