Abstract

Early amputation is regarded as a life saving procedure after high energy injuries due to war injuries and terrorist attacks. Proper intervention in such injuries requires more experience and algorithmic approach. Moreover appropriate management in war and terrorist attacks-related vascular injuries of the extremities are challenging among many surgeons, especially in our country regarding geopolitical location. Although lİmb salvage surgeries are performed primarily, long-standing and fair outcomes of these procedures may affect patients negatively both physically and emotionally which should be keep in mind in definiive treatment decision.
