The efficacy of azithromycin was investigated in 25 patients with acute ton¬sillitis and pharyngitis. The findings were evaluated. A significant clinical response to azithromycin was obtained in 23 patients. The only adverse events encountered were reversible emesis in two cases, and diarrhea in one.
Özet
1995 yılında Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi Kulak Burun Boğaz Anabilim Dalı'na başvuran akut farenjit ve tonsilliti olan 25 hasta üzerinde azit-romisin çalışması yapılmış ve sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. Yirmi beş hastanın 23'ünde (%92) klinik şifa elde edilmiştir. Yan etki olarak, iki has¬tada bulantı, bir hastada hafif ölçüde diare gözlenmiştir.
