Özet
Prostetik materyal kullanılarak herniyoplasti yapılan hastalarda meydana gelen enfeksiyonlar nükslere neden olan önemli bir faktör olmasına rağmen enfeksiyon gelişimini azaltmaya yönelik girişimler ve özellikle antibi-yotik kullanımı halen tartışmalıdır. Bu derlemede gerek enfeksiyon gelişimini azaltmaya yönelik antibiyotik tedavileri gerekse perioperatif dönemde alınması gere-ken tedbirler tartışılmaktadır.
