Abstract

Hydrocephalus is a disease due to production much mone CSF (Cerebro Spinal Fluid), a defect at absorbtion of CSF or an obstruction at the CSF flowing ways. The migration of distal tip of ventriculo-peritoneal shunt is seen more common, but Intracranial migration is a rare complication with the Incidence %0,l-0,4. In this report, we aimed to report Intracranial migration of a 4 years age case who had inserted ventriculo-peritoneal shunt due to hydrocephalus four years ago. The migration at ventriculo tip of shunt was seen on cranial CT (Computerize Tomography) of the patient that was admitted to our emergency clinic with the complaint of nausea and vomiting together loss of comprehension. The patient was undergone operation and the tip of the shunt was find and a new shunt was Inserted.
