Abstract

In this study, consits of the researches on the effects of planting density and GA3 applications on flowering and flower quality of cut gladiolus growing; it was determined that the cultivars are giving differentresponses to different planting densities and $GA_3$ applications. Intensive (dence) plantings (short distance plantings) (12.5 x 12.5 cm) reduced flower lenght and the number of flourescents, whereas $GA_3$ applications increased the flower quality. The best quality flowers were obtained by the corms, which have treated with 100 ppm GA3 application.

Özet

Kesme gladiol yetiştiriciliği üzerine dikim sıklığı ve $GA_3$ uygulamalarının etkilerinin araştırıldığı bu çalışmada; dikim sıklığı ve $GA_3$ uygulamasına çeşitlerin farklı tepkiler verdiği belirlenmiştir. Sık dikimler (12.5 x 12.5 cm) çiçek boyu ve kandil sayısını azaltmış, $GA_3$ uygulamaları ise çiçek kalitesini arttırmıştır. En iyi kalitede çiçekler, 100 ppm'lik $GA_3$ uygulamasına tabi tutulan cormlardan elde edilmiştir.
