Bu çalışma bazı iris çeşitlerinde farklı dikim sıklıkları ve ethephon uygulamalarının erkencilik ve çiçek kalitesi üzerine etkilerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, çiçeklenme ve çiçek kalitesi üzerine çeşitlerin farklı tepkiler verdiği belirlenmiştir. Ethephon uygula¬maları erken çiçeklenme ve çiçek kalitesini arttırmış, dikim sıklıkları ise etkili olmamıştır.
