Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the performance of some False Flax (Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz) genotype under Eskisehir ecological condition in 2014-15 and 2015-16. The field experiments were carried out in the randomized complete block design with three replications. Plant height, number of branch per plant, number of capsule per plant, thousand seed weight, seed yield, oil content and oil yield were investigated in the study. Mean data for plant height (cm), number of branches per plant, number of capsules per plant, 1000 seed weight (g), oil content (%), seed yield (kg/da) and oil yield (kg/da) were 82.0 cm,10.1 number per plant, 14.8 number per plant, 1.16 g, 32.4%, 82.0 kg/da and 26.6 kg/da, respectively. According to the results obtained; especially in terms of oil content, seed and oil yield, genotypes 3, 4, 5, 6, 15, 17 and 24 are promising in terms of the features mentioned above and can be used as genitor in breeding researches.
