Abstract

Renal cell cancer accounts for 2% of all cancers. Unexpected tissue and organ metastases can be detected in patients with renal cell cancer. Renal cell cancer can be diagnosed in patients with Von Hippel Lindau(VHL) disease. In the literature there is no report of synchronous parotid gland metastases and thyroid gland metastases in same patient. In this case report, a rare case of clinically considered VHL disease with bilateral renal cell carcinoma and synchronous thyroid gland and parotid gland metastases is described.

Özet

Renal hücreli karsinom bütün kanserlerin % 2 sini oluşturur. Renal hücreli karsinom tanılı olgularda beklenmedik organ ve doku metastazları saptanabilmektedir. Von Hippel Lindau hastalığı tanısı olanlarda renal hücreli karsinom tanısı konulabilmektedir. Literaütür değerlendirildiğinde, tiroid ve parotis metastazı birlikteliği saptanmamıştır. Bu olgu sunumunda, klinik olarak Von Hippel Lindau hastalığı tanısı düşünülen bilateral renal hücreli karsinom tanısı alan ve tiroid ve parotis bezi metastazı birlikteliği olan olgu sunulmuştur
