Abstract
Spinal epidural abscess is a very rare and dangerous lesion. We present here spondylodiscitis case developed following iatrogenic spinal epidural abscess. The patient was operated on by surgical drainage and appropriate antibiotic therapy. Improvement was seen postoperatively. In this article, the clinical outcome, radiological findings, and management prothocoles of spinal epidural abscess and spondylodiscitis are discussed with review of the literature.

Spinal epidural apse seyrek görülen ve tehlikeli bir lezyondur. Biz bu yazida bir iatrojenik spinal epidural apse sonrasi gelisen spondilodiskitis olgusu sunuyoruz. Hasta cerrahi drenaj ile opere edildi ve uygun antibiyotik tedavisine alindi. Operasyon sonrasi düzelme görüldü. Bu makalede spinal epidural apse ve spondilodiskitisin, klinik gidisi, radyolojik incelemeleri ve tedavi ilkeleri literatür gözden geçirilerek tartisilmistir.
