Etyolojisi bilinmez ancak konstitisyonel faktörlere, obesiteye bağlanır, 5. ve 6. onyıllarda daha sık rastlanır. Bu olgu sunumunda 70 yaşındaki erkek hastada saptanan sıradışı, büyük bir skrotal lipom anlatılmaktadır.
