Abstract

Treatability of domestic wastewater by crossflow microfiltration system has been investigated. Treatment efficiency of the system was tested based on COD and turbidity removal efficiencies. Nitrocelluloze membranes with 0,2$mu m$ and 0,45 $mu m$ pore sizes have been used. The achieved COD removal efficiencies were 65% for 0,45 $mu m$ pore size membrane and 73% for 0,2 $mu m$ pore size membrane.
