Abstract

The right middle lobe syndrome is clinical condition of the right lung middle lobe, characterized by persis- tent or recurrent atelectasis. Thanks to recent ad- vancements in imaging techniques, early diagnosis has become more widespread. Herein, we present a 23-year-old female case with a suspected middle lobe tumor that was left undiagnosed, despite all invasive procedures and a 15-year-old male case of lung and liver hydatid cysts that was diagnosed with middle lobe syndrome during surgery

Özet

Sağ orta lob sendromu, sağ orta lobda inatçı ya da tekrarlayan atelektaziler ile karakterize olan bir tablo- dur. Görüntüleme yöntemlerindeki gelişmelerin etki- siyle erken tanı konulması sıklığı artmıştır. Burada, sağ orta lob tümörü ön tanısıyla tüm invazif girişimle- re rağmen tanısı konulamayan 23 yaşındaki bayan hasta ile akciğer- karaciğer hidatik kist nedeniyle operasyona alınan ve operasyon esnasında orta lob sendromu tanısı konulan 15 yaşındaki olgularımızı sunmayı amaçladık
