Abstract

Evaluating the appropriateness to region needs of vocational schools technical programmes which respond to economy and labour market in Turkey is the purpose of this study. In accordance with this purpose, in our study, by utilizing the data obtained from the Higher Education Council Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) Higher Education Programmes and Quotas Guide, there are some information about technical programmes of vocational schools by regions, also development characteristics of regions are discussed. to reach a conclusion on determine the sections having educational demands.

Özet

Ekonominin ve isgücü piyasasının taleplerine cevap verecek olan ülkemizdeki Meslek Yüksekokullarındaki teknik programların bölge ihtiyaçlarına uygunluğunun değerlendirmesi çalısmamızın amacını olusturmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalısmamızda, ÖSYM Yükseköğretim Programları ve Kontenjanları Kılavuzu’ndaki verilerden yararlanılarak ülkemizde bölgelere göre meslek yüksekokullarındaki teknik bölümler hakkında bilgiler verilmis, bölgelerin gelisme özellikleri kısaca ele alınmıs ve bölgelerde hangi bölüm baslıkları altında eğitim ihtiyacı olduğu sonucuna varılmaya çalısılmıstır.
