Abstract

Ocular astigmatism is a frequently seen refractive problem which may result in decreased visual acuity, glare, monocular diplopia, astenopia or distortion. Especially severe astigmatism after cataract surgery may be a great problem in patients’ visual rehabilitation. In this article, we presented, a patient with decresed visual acuity because of severe astigmatism after cataract surgery whose visual rehabilitation was achieved with consecutive astigmatic keratotomy and limbal relaxing incisions at different times.
