Abstract

We presented, herein, our clinical approach to identify the etiology of chronic ocular hypotony in a patient with bilateral chronic uveitis and pseudophakia, in order to emphasize the diagnostic value of ultrasound biomicroscopy in the assessment of ocular hypotony in cases where the underlying pathologic mechanisms can not be explained with other routin clinical examinations.

Özet

Bilateral kronik üveit ve psödofaki tanısı ile takip ettiğimiz bir olguda gelişen kronik oküler hipotoni tablosunda etiyolojiye yönelik klinik yaklaşımımızı sunarak, diğer klinik incelemelerle nedeni tam olarak aydınlatılamayan oküler hipotoni olgularında ultrason biyomikroskopi incelemesinin tanısal değerinin vurgulanması amaçlandı.
