Abstract

Choroidal neovascular membrane may develop in the macular region as a late complication of toxoplasmic retinocoroiditis. There is no standard treatment protocol for these cases. Anti-inflammatory treatment for the underlying inflammatory pathology, intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor injection and photodynamic therapy can be used for these cases. The aim of this study is to present the possible inflammatory choroidal neovascular membrane developing in a focus different from an old toxoplasma retinochoroiditis focus.
