Abstract

HELLP (Hemolysis, Elevated Liver Enzyms, Low Platelet Count) syndrome which is seen in patients with severe pre- eclampsia and eclampsia characterized with hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes and thrombocytopenia. In preec- lampsia, serous retinal detachment can be seen as a rare cause of loss of vision. In this study, a 25 years old patient with HELLP syndrome and bilateral retinal detachment, is presented. SRD improved at post partum period by leaving widespread retinal pigment epithelial changes.
