Abstract

Pilomatrixoma is generally defined as a benign tumor that occurs during the first decade of life. Pilomatrixomas are usually found as a solitary tumor. The diagnosis is mainly clinical, but the definitive diagnosis is made by histopathology. The recommended treatment is surgical excision. A four-year-old male patient was brought with swelling under the skin on his back. The mass was detected by ultrasonography calcified. Excisional biopsy pathology was consistent with pilomatrixoma.
