Abstract
Thyroglossal duct remnants are the most common congenital anomalies of the midline neck. Lateral aberrant localisation was reported unusually. Carcinoma is found in one percent of them. Papillary carcinoma is the most common type (80%). We present 3 additional papillary thyroglossal duct carcinoma cases, two of them 28 and 40 years-old women and one 47-years old man. In all patients, first cyst excisions were performed, after pathologic diagnosis thyroidectomies were performed. All patients had occult papillary carcinoma in thyroid. Tiroglossal duktus artıkları boyun orta hatta en sık görülen konjenital anomalilerdir. Nadir olarak lateral aberran gelişimler bildirilmiştir. Tiroglossal duktus kistlerinin % 1'ine malignite eşlik edebilir. Tiroglossal duktus karsinomları arasında % 80 oranla en sık papiller karsinom görülür. Bu çalışmada sunulan üç papiller tiroglossal duktus karsinomu olgusunda ikisi 28 ve 40 yaşında kadın olup biri 47 yaşında erkekti. Tüm olgulara kist eksizyonu ve tanı sonrası tiroidektomi uygulandı. Her üç olguda da tiroidde okkült papiller karsinom saptandı. Tiroglossal duktus kistinden kaynaklanan biri lateral lokalizasyonlu üç papiller karsinom olgusu sunuldu ve tanı kriterleri literatür bilgisi ışığında tartışıldı.
