Abstract

In this study, a scale-up method is proposed for dry multi-compartment ball mills used in cement industry. The method is based on Morrell and Man’s approach (1997) which uses the model parameters obtained from Bond grindability test. This approach was tested by using the data obtained from eight cement grinding circuits operating in five different plants. Although Morrell and Man’s approach has been verified for wet grinding circuits, it was concluded that it is insufficient for cement grinding circuits.

Morrell Man (1997) yaklaşımının yaş öğütme devreleri için doğrulanmış olmasına karşın çimento öğütme devrelerinde yetersiz kaldığı sonucuna varılmıştır.
