Abstract

In this paper, based on the modelling of Bond ball mill grindability test, a scale up approach which can be used for selection of multi-compartment ball mills and cement grinding circuit design is used. The success of the approach was evaluated by the data taken from eight different operating cement grinding circuits. The flow rates and size distributions of the streams in the circuits were successfully predicted by this method.
