After laparoscopic cholocystectomy the patient suffered from vulvar edema that began on the 3 rd day unilaterally at first, then became bilaterally. The patient was treated by antibiotic and antienflamatory drugs ,then on the 6th postoperative day vulvar punch biopsy was performed. In previous reports 5 cases have been announced, but there was no exact knowledge about the etiolgy of exiting edema. We thought that taking biopsy from the vulva will give us probably information about the complication.

Abstract

We want to report a vulvar edema case that has not been reported as an laparoscopical complication in classical sources.
