Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to investigate some biochemical parameters in laying geese. Ten adult geese were used as material. Ca, P, cholesterol, oestradiol and progesteron levels in blood samples obtained in geese before and during laying period were determined. Serum Ca. P. oestrogène and progesteron levels showed significant increases in laying period, whereas there was no difference in cholesterol levels.

Yumurtlama dönemindeki kazlarda bazı biyokimyasal parametrelerin araştırılması amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada 10 adet yetişkin Fransız Beyazı kaz kullanılmıştır. Yumurtlamadan önce ve yumurtlama döneminde alınan kan örneklerinde Ca. P, kolesterol, östrojen ve progesteron düzeyleri saptanmıştır. Yumurtlama döneminde serum Ca, P, östrojen ve progesteron düzeylerinde artış saptanırken, serum kolesterol düzeyinde anlamlı bir değişiklik olmamıştır.
