Abstract
Angiomyolipomas of the kidney are benign lesions composed of abnormal thick-walled blood vessels, smooth muscle cells and mature adipocytes. It may be asymptomatic; or may present with flank pain, mass, gross hematuria and massive hemorrhage. The risk of bleeding is increased with size and hormonal situations such as pregnancy. In this study, we report a case of renal angiomyolipoma in a 32-year-old woman who presented to the emergency department with flank pain aggravated 2 days after a caesarean section.
Özet
Renal anjiomyolipom (AML) matür yağ hücreleri, düz kas dokusu ve kalın duvarlı kan damarlarını değişen oranlarda içeren benign bir tümördür. Asemptomatik olabildikleri gibi ağrı, kitle, gros hematüri ve masif hemoraji ile de semptom verebilirler. Kanama riski boyut ve gebelik gibi hormonal etkilerle artar. Çalışmamızda 1 yıldır sol yan ağrısı olan ve sezeryan ile doğum yaptıktan sonraki 2 gün içinde şiddetli ağrı nedeniyle iki kez acil servise başvurması sonucu sol renal anjiomyolipom saptanan 32 yaşında bayan olgu sunulmaktadır.
