Abstract

This paper describes a method to determine the trace amounts of iron (III), lead (II) and chromium (III), where atomic absorption spectrometry with cadion coprecipitation is used. We examined the effects of analytical parameters such as the amount of cadion, sample volume, matrix effect and waiting time before and after centrifugation, etc. in the recovery of analyte ions. The effect of centrifuge time was also examined. The detection limits for Pb, Fe, Cr were 0.300, 0.090, 0.060 mgL-1 respectively. Validation of the presented coprecipitation method was performed via analysis by means of using standard reference materials. The method was applied to determine the degree of analytes present in real samples, including tap water collected form a lake, a Crater Lake and dam in Kayseri and Sivas. The standard deviations and recoveries were found to be <5% and >95 % respectively.

Standart sapmalar % 5 in altında çıkarken geri kazanımlar % 95 in üzerindeydi.
