Abstract
For many countries, tourism is increasingly becoming a source of income, employment, and wealth. For districts that are lacking resources of agriculture and industry, and opportunities for improvement, tourism, which is known as smokeless industry, but districts having rich tourism potential, by planned and efficient activities, will allow those districts opportunities to get balanced development. All improvements in the world are directly related to the permanence of life by ensuring sustainability of natural resources. The concept of green economy was derived as a result of that process. By green economy, not only effective use of existing resources but also waste management namely positive externality is provided. The purpose of our study is to analyze the relationship between the economy and tourism involvement and the effect and the contribution of green tourism to the Turkish economy
Özet
Turizm, birçok ülke için giderek artan miktarda önemli bir gelir, istihdam ve zenginlik kaynağı haline gelmiştir. Bacasız fabrika diye de adlandırılan turizm faaliyetleri; tarım ve sanayide yeterli kaynak ve gelişme olanağına sahip olmayan, fakat zengin bir turizm potansiyeline sahip bölgelerin, planlı ve etkin bir turizm uygulaması sonucunda turistik yönden kalkınmalarını ve dengeli bir şekilde gelişmelerini sağlayacaktır. Dünyadaki tüm gelişmeler yaşamın devamlılığına bağlı olup, bu da doğal kaynakların sürekliliğini sağlamaktan geçer. Bu durum yeşil ekonomi kavramını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Yeşil ekonomi ile mevcut kaynakların etkin kullanımının yanı sıra kullanım sonrası ortaya çıkan tüm atıkların da etkin kullanımı yani pozitif dışsallıklar anlatılmak istenmektedir. Çalışmamızın amacı, yeşil ekonomi ve turizm ilişkisini inceleyerek, yeşil turizmin ülke ekonomisine nasıl bir katkı sağlayacağını ortaya koymaktır
