Abstract
This investigation has been done to determine the most efficient force moulting methods in broiler breeders. A total of 462 chickens comes from A-22, A-44 mother lines and B-55 father line were used in this study. Namely Traditionel, Washington and California methods which based on feed and water deprivation were carried out. At the end of the research, the highest body weight losses were found in California for A-22 and B-55, in Traditional for A-44. Mortality was also found 0.86 % in the experiment. As a conclussion, it seems that the most available methods of these three are Califfornia for A-22 and B-55 and Traditional for A-44.

Etçi damızlık hatlar için en uygun tüy dökümü yöntemlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla ele alınan bu çalışmada, ticari hibrit üretiminde ana soy olarak kullanı- lan farklı iki genotip grubu (A-22 ve A- 44) ile baba soyu olarak kullanılan bir genotip grubuna (B- 55) ait toplam 462 adet tavuk kullanılmıştır. Esası yem ve su kesintisine dayalı olan Geleneksel Metod, Vaşington metodu ve Kaliforniya metodu her üç genotipe de uygulanmıştır. Uygulama sonunda en fazla canlı ağırlık kaybı A-22 ve B-55 için Kaliforniya'da A-44 için ise Geleneksel Metotta elde edilmiştir. Çalışmadaki ölüm oranı ise % 0.86 dır. Sonuç olarak, bu üç metod arasında A-22 ve B-55 genotipleri için Kaliforniya ve A-44 genotipi için de Geleneksel metod daha uygun bulunmuştur.
