STUDY DESIGN: 100 patients infected with T. vaginalis and G. vaginalis were entered the study. 5 day ornidazole treatment was given to the first group (60 patients) and second group (40 patients) was applied one dose ornidazole RESULTS: During control examination, success of treatment was found to be 91. 2 % and 97.1 % in group I and II respectively after 7-10 days of treatment ( P> 0.05 ) DISCUSSION: Although ornidazole is not used as frequent as metronidazole, success of one dose and 5 day ornidazole treatment showed that it can be used successfully in clinical management of T. vaginalis and G. vaginalis infections.
