Abstract

Occlusion of saphenous vein grafts, being used in the coronary artey by-pass operation, can cause severe ischemia and, also, acute myocardial infarction, in the regions provided blood from the same vein grafts. In this report, we present an interesting case who had a sequential saphenous vein graft which occluded proximally but remained open distally and provided blood between two arteries. Fortunately, providing blood between two arteries caused ischemia at low level.

Özet

Koroner arter by-pass cerrahisinde kullanılan safen ven grenleri tıkandığında kanlandırdıkları koroner arter alanlarında ciddi iskemiye hatta myokard infarktüsüne sebep olmaktadırlar. Bu yazıda proksimal bölümden tıkandığı halde distali açık kalan ve böylece iki koroner arter arasında kan akımı sağlayan, sequential safen ven greftinin saptandığı ilginç bir olgu sunulmaktadır, iki koroner arter arasında kan akımının devam etmesi de iskeminin hafif düzeyde sınırlı kalmasını sağlamıştır.
