Abstract

Spinal epidural abscess (SEA) leading to neurological deficit or not is an uncommon entity in the neuro-surgical setting. The diagnosis of SEA is very difficult because of it's rarity and requires urgent treatment. We present a case of SEA in a patient which causing paraplegia. Emergency magnetic rezonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated epidural abscess in T3-T7 level. A decompressive laminectomi was performed for drainage of the epidural abscess and discussed diagnosis and treatment.
