Abstract

Pattern visual evoked potential test: our normal values We aimed in this study to determine our normal values of pattern visual evoked potential test. Pattern visual evoked potential test was administered to health and 8 to 59-year-old subjects who have full visual acuities in the Electrophysiology Laboratory at the Ophthalmology Department of Gulhane Military Medical Academy. Results were evaluated on the basis of three age groups (8 to 19, 20 to 39 and 40 to 59). Pattern visual evoked potential recordings were obtained by using five different check sizes in order to objectively determine the different levels of visual acuity. All the recordings were made using the recommended standards of International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision (ISCEV). An emphasis was made that every laboratory should have its normal values in itsown laboratory environment.

Özet

Çalışmamızda desen görsel uyarılmış yanıt testi değerlendirmelerimiz için normal değerlerin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır.Gülhane Askeri Tıp Akademisi Göz Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı Oküler Elektrofizyoloji Laboratuvarında, sağlıklı ve görme keskinliği tam olan, 8 ile 59 yaş aralığındaki hastalara desen görsel uyarılmış yanıt testi uygulanmıştır. Sonuçlar üç yaş grubu halinde (8-19; 20-39; 40-59) değerlendirilmiştir.PVER testi ile değişik düzeylerdeki görme keskinliklerini objektif olarak öngörebilmek üzere beş farklı desende kayıtlar alınmıştır. Tüm kayıtlar, Uluslararası Elektrofizyoloji Cemiyeti'nin (ISCEV) tavsiye ettiği standartlar kullanılarak yapılmıştır.Sonuç olarak, her elektrofizyolojilaboratuvarının kendi normal değerlerini kendi özgün ortamında belirlemesi gerekliliği vurgulanmıştır.
