Abstract

We performed bicaval orthotopic cardiac transplantation to a man whose diagnose was cardiomyopathia in Cardiovascular Department of Gülhane Military Medical Academy on 26 June 2002. His age was 55 years old. The patient was given standard immunosuppresive therapy that included cyclosporine, azathiopyrine and corticostereoid drugs. The patient's preoperative and postoperative period was evaluated and discussed in the view of literature knowledge.

Özet

GATA kalp ve damar cerrahi kliniğinde, ilk kez 55 yaşında dilate kardiyomiyopati tanısı ile kalp nakli endikasyonu konan hastaya, 26.06.2002 tarihinde bikaval tekniğin kullanıldığı ortotopik kalp nakli ameliyatı uygulandı. Olguda, operasyon ile birlikte siklosporin, azathiopirin ve kortikosteroidden oluşan üçlü immunsüpresif tedavi başlandı. Kalp nakli uygulanan hastanın preoperatif ve postoperatif dönem takipleri literatür ışığında tartışılarak sunuldu.
