Abstract

Candida species which were previously thought to be important only for patients with hematological malignancies, have found more upper place among nosocomial pathogens in recent years. Especially, the rates of deep mycosis have increased dramatically in intensive care patients who stay more than seven days; have vascular catheters, mucosal colonization because of multiple antibiotic usage, and / or wound infections alter prolonged operations. The purpose of this review is to emphasize the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of deep Candida infections that can be seen in intensive care units.

Özet

Önceleri sadece hematolojik maligniteli hastalarda önemli olduğu düşünülen Candida türleri, son yıllarda sık rastlanan nozokomiyal patojenler arasında üst sıralara yerleşmeye başlamıştır. Özellikle yatış süresi yedi günü aşmış, damar içi kateteri olan, çoklu antibiyotik kullanımına bağlı mukoza kolonizasyonu ve / veya uzun operasyonlardan sonra gelişmiş cerrahi yara enfeksiyonları bulunan yoğun bakım hastalarında da derin mikoz oluşma sıklığı artmıştır. Bu derleme yoğun bakımlarda gelişen derin kandida enfeksiyonlarında etyoloji, patogenez, tanı ve tedaviyi gözden geçirmek amacıyla ele alınmıştır.
