Abstract

Among the Surgical Site Infections (SSI) in Hospital Infections (HI), operating room infections are very important. Although Surgical Site Infections which originate in the operating room affect all patients, some features make patients prone to this infection. Children come at the head of the list of prone groups. In this article, pediatric surgery in patients, with evidence and proof of preventing SSI source in operating rooms, were included.

Özet

Hastane Enfeksiyonları (HE) içinde Cerrahi Alan Enfeksiyonları (CAE), CAE içinde ise, ameliyathane kaynaklı enfeksiyonlar önemli yer tutar. Ameliyathane kaynaklı Cerrahi Alan Enfeksiyonları tüm hastaları etkilemekle birlikte, bazı özellikler hastaları bu enfeksiyonlara yatkın kılar. Yatkın grupların başında da çocuklar gelmektedir. Bu makalede çocuk cerrahi hastalarında ameliyathane kaynaklı CAE’nı önlemede kanıt temeli önerilere ve kanıt düzeylerine yer verildi.
