Abstract
Cogan' s syndrome is a rare disease, manifested by non-syphilitic interstitial keratitis and audio-vestibular symptoms. The patients can be presented with deafness, vasculitis, aortic insufficiency and blindness. In the literature fatal outcomes of the Cogan's syndrome have been reported also. We herein present a case with Cogan's syndrome in whom the presence of interstitial keratitis could be confirmed by re-peated ophthalmologic examinations. Successful response was obtained with corticosteroid and azathioprine treatment.

Cogan sendromu; non-sifilitik interstisyel keratit ve odiyovestibüler semptomlarla karakterize, nadir bir hastalıktır. Günümüzde hastalığın başlıca sağırlık olmak üzere, vaskülit, aort yetmezliği, körlük ve ölüm gibi ciddi sonuçlara yol açabileceği bilinmektedir. Bu yazıda, ancak tekrarlanan göz muayeneleri sonucu interstisyel keratit varlığı tespit edilebilen, kortikosteroid ve azatiyoprin ile başarılı şekilde tedavi edilen bir hasta sunulmuştur.
