A 68-year-old man who had both zoophilia and irritability, auditory hallu- cinations, grandiose and mystic delusions was evaluated as diaognosis of manic attack with psychotic features. After an antimanic treatment the abnormal sexual behavior has been disappeared. It was learned that patient had similar paraphiliac symptoms during his previous five manic episodes. The aim of the disscussion about the following case is to draw attention to the association between mood disorders and zoophilia, to keep this issues in mind and to ask investigating such questions in psychiatric interview.
