Abstract

Visceral hepatic involvement with varicella is uncommon but when it occurs, generally affects immune-supressed hosts and outcome is frequently fatal. But early therapeutic intervention with high dose acyclovir has been effective in the treatment of varicella hepatitis. Here we report a case with acute lymphoblastic leukemia developed visceral varicella hepatitis and recovered fully with early and effective treatment with acyclovir.

Özet

Varicella infeksiyonunun viseral hepatik tutulumu nadir görülür.
