Abstract

Pulmonary artery aneurysm associated with intracardiac thrombus is a rare complication of Behçet’s disease. In this article, we report a 26-yearold male admitted with massive hemoptysis. Pulmonary computed tomography angiogram demonstrated pulmonary artery aneurysm with thrombus. Echocardiography revealed a mobile right ventricular thrombus. The patient was treated with corticosteroids, cyclophosphamide, azathioprine, and colchicine without anticoagulant therapy. During follow-up, pulmonary artery aneurysm regressed, and no bleeding or thromboembolic event was observed.

Özet

İntrakardiyak trombüs ile ilişkilendirilen pulmoner arter anevrizması Behçet Hastalığının nadir görülen bir komplikasyonudur. Bu yazıda masif hemoptizi ile kabul edilen 26 yaşında bir erkek sunuldu. Pulmoner bilgisayarlı tomografi anjiyografide trombüs ile birlikte pulmoner arter anevrizması görüntülendi. Ekokardiyografide sağ ventrikülde hareketli trombüs izlendi. Hasta antikoagülan tedavi olmaksızın kortikosteroid, siklofosfamid, azatioprin ve kolşisin ile tedavi edildi. Takipte pulmoner arter anevrizmada gerileme oldu ve herhangi bir kanama veya tromboembolik olay izlenmedi.
