Bu çalışmada, dümdüz, yemyeşil, simsiyah, opolgun, büsbütün, kaskatı… gibi Türkçe pekiştirme sözcüklerinin yazımı, türü ve özellikleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu sözcüklerin ikileme söz öbeği olarak kabul edilip edilemeyeceği ve op olgun, büs bütün, düm düz… gibi ayrı olarak yazılmalarının doğru olup olamayacağı değerlendirilmiştir.
