Material and Method: Totally fifty patients who applied to the emergency unit were included into the study. A control group matched with the patient group in regard to age and gender was composed. The Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV (SCID-I) and Temperament Evaluation of Memphis, Pisa, Paris, San Diego Autoquestionnaire (TEMPS-A) were administrated to both groups. Results: Of the patients, 60% (n=30) were females while 40% (n=20) were males. The mean age was 28.7± 9.8 years. 64% of the patients were single. The mean scores of the patients on the items of depressive, cyclothymic and anxiety were higher than those of healthy controls. Of the patients, 28 (%69) had dominant several temperament characters. 38% (n=19) of the patients had depressive temperament while 24% (n=12) of them had anxious temperament, 16% (n=8) had cyclothymic temperament and 6% (n=3) exhibited irritable temperament.

Hastalara DSM–IV Eksen I Bozuklukları İçin Yapılandırılmış Klinik Görüşme Ölçeği (SCID-I) ve Temperament Evaluation of Memphis, Pisa, Paris, San Diego anketi (TEMPS-A) uygulandı.
