Abstract

Mesenteric cyst is one of the rarest abdominal tumors. The lack of characteristic clinical features and radiological signs may present great diagnostic difficulties. The cyst may present with diffuse abdominal swelling, abdominal pain or an abdominal mass. Malignant cysts occur in less than 3% of cases. It must be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of obscure ascites. Surgery is the treatment of choice. Two cases of mesenteric cysts are presented who were treated successfully with surgical excision.

Özet

Mezenterik kist, abdominal tümörlerin nadir nedenlerinden biridir.
