Özet

Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı elektronik tıbbi veri tabanı PUBMED’i kullanarak dergimiz hakemlerinin uluslararası birinci isim yayınlarını incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çocuk cerrahisi dalının ülkemizdeki tek ve resmi süreli yayını olan Çocuk Cerrahisi Dergisi’nin kuruluşundan 2006 yılı başına dek geçen sürede danışma kurulunda bulunan akademik unvanlı 124 çocuk cerrahına ait birinci isim yayınlar PUBMED’te tarandı ve toplam yazı - yazar sayıları, yayın yapılan dergiler ile konu seçimleri açılarından ayrıntılı olarak incelendi. Bulgular: Yazarlara ait toplam 1.062 yazı bulundu. Yazılarda adı geçen toplam Türk yazar sayısı: 1.745 (yazı başına 1.6 yazar), yabancı yazar sayısı 105 (tüm isimlerin % 5.6’sı). Çocuk Cerrahisi (ÇC) dergilerinde çıkan yazı sayısı 516 (% 48.5), farklı alanlardaki 147 ÇC dışı dergide çıkan yazı sayısı 546 (% 51.5)’ydı. En sık seçilen konular gastrointestinal sistem: 364 (% 34.2), üroloji: 275 (% 25.8), tümörler: 88 (% 8.2), travma: 84 (% 7.9), karın duvarı: 78 (% 7.3) ve enfeksiyonlar: 51 (% 4.8) olarak belirlendi. Birinci isim yazıların en sık yayınlandığı ÇC dergileri: J Pediatr Surg (JPS): 280, Eur J Pediatr Surg (EJPS): 130, Pediatr Surg International (PSI): 81’ken, ÇC dışı dergilerin alan dağılımı: üroloji: 157, çocuk: 138, genel cerrahi: 104, deneysel: 22, kalp-damar cerrahisi: 16, genel tıp: 14 şeklindeydi.
