Abstract
In order to investigate phytoplankton community and seasonal variations of Topçam Dam Lake, samplings were carried out between June 1999 and May 2000 monthly. Samples were collected vertically and horizontally from two stations by 60 ,m mesh sized plankton net. As a result of the study, a total of 63 phytoplankton taxa were determined. Of which, 15 belong to Cyanophyta, 15 to Bacillariophyta, 3 to Dinophyta, 4 to Euglenophyta and 26 to Chlorophyta. These taxa are cosmopolite for Turkish freshwaters. Botryococcus braunii, Pediastrum boryanum, Staurastrum paradoxum, Aulacoseira granulata, Fragilaria crotonensis, Surirella robusta, Synedra acus, Anabaena solitaria, Aphanizomenon gracile, Aphanizomenon issatschenkai, Gomphosphaeria aponina, Ceratium hirundinella were observed most frequently during sampling period. Topçam Baraj Gölü’nün fitoplankton kompozisyonunu ve mevsimsel değişimlerini incelemek amacıyla, Haziran 1999-Mayıs 2000 tarihleri arasında aylık örneklemeler yapılmıştır. Örnekler 2 ayrı istasyondan, 60 ,m göz açıklığındaki plankton kepçesiyle, vertikal ve horizontal olarak toplanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, 15’i Cyanophyta, 26’sı Chlorophyta, 15’i Bacillariophyta, 3’ü Dinophyta ve 4’ü Euglenophyta’dan olmak üzere toplam 63 takson tespit edilmiş olup, bu taksonlar Türkiye tatlısuları için kozmopolittir. Botryococcus braunii, Pediastrum boryanum, Staurastrum paradoxum,, Aulacoseira granulata, Fragilaria crotonensis, Surirella robusta, Synedra acus, Anabaena solitaria, Aphanizomenon gracile, Aphanizomenon issatschenkai, Gomphosphaeria aponina ve Ceratium hirundinella örnekleme periyodu boyunca en sık gözlenen taksonlardır.
